此外，從一種詞類又可以轉化為另一種詞類，其中以⒈名詞轉化為動詞、⒉動詞轉化為名詞以及⒊形容詞轉化為動詞，這三種最為普遍、最為生動

轉化后的詞具有該詞基本的特性，因此轉化名詞有如真正名詞，轉化動詞就像真正動詞

例如：　　①Thestrongtendtobullytheweak.　　②Poorinnocentsdeserveourgreatestsympathy.　　③Richardlookedlikeasillyinsuchasituation.　　④Thesecretaryknowstheinsandoutsofthematter.　　⑤Doyouknowthewhysandwhereforesoftheaccident?　　⑥Thougharichmannow,Peter'searlierlifewasmarkedbyupsanddowns.　　上述這些轉化名詞，并未具有名詞全部的特性

例如“thestrong”和“theweak”形式是單數，意思是復數

還有④-⑥這些轉化名詞既有復數之形，也具復數之意
